Before you go all out with your gourmet sandwiches, how about trying to have a decent deli first? Even the simplest Acme deli puts this thing to shame. I inquired about the different varieties of salami and was told there are only two - Genoa and hard. So I asked for Genoa and after fumbling around for a while the kid behind the counter pulled out a stick of salami and said, "This is all we have actually, but I think it's Genoa." (Strike one; Only one variety of salami??) I took a closer look and saw that it said "Hard Salami" on the label. (Strike two; employees don't know Genoa from hard salami??) I looked at the sad stick of salami that looks like it's been sitting there untouched for a couple of weeks (Strike three; far from fresh) and decided to instead go for the unopened (therefore fresh) prosciutto. I asked for it to be sliced very thin and had to repeat that again half way through the slicing effort after I noticed how thick the kid was slicing it. Needless to say, none of it was thin - in fact, I'd expect it to be thinner if I asked in most delis for it to be sliced thick. (Strike four; a deli that doesn't know the meaning of "sliced thin" sucks).
The only positive thing I can say about this place is the cold drink variety is great - there's something for everyone. Otherwise, this is a sad, sad excuse for a deli.

I enjoyed my BBQ pork sandwich (#11 I think?). The service was really good, and I was equally impressed with their selection of drinks - all sorts of sodas, teas, energy drinks, etc. I get excited whenever I find my Coke Cherry Zero somewhere. :) This is a great spot for a quick lunch. There is a number of tables inside and outside as well. It's not cheap, but contains a wealth of items that you wouldn't typically expect to see in a deli.

I usually love Joey G's eggplant parm subs but when they get an order wrong they really get it wrong. What the blonde haired doofus behind the counter gave me was a hard sauceless roll with wilted eggplant and lettuce. It makes me seriously consider ever spending $8.50 on a sandwich there ever again.
