I went with my wife during restaurant week. The service was great - fast and very attentive. We brought a bottle of wine with us and an ice bucket was immediately provided. The garlic bread was amazing -super fresh, hot and very tasty. Both ceasar and garden salads we accompanied by great dressings. Entrees were not bad (can't expect Le Bec Fin for a $25 three course meal).
My wife's was in love with her home-made tiramisu. The creme brûlée was good; a little thick on the caramelized sugar, but the creme undeneath was very fresh and delicious.
Will definitely come back here to try regular menu items and other specials.

We found ourselves with a free night out sans children and decided to try Florentino's. I knew it was in downtown, but walked past it many times without realizing what it was. I'm sorry we didn't try it sooner. It's a tight-squeeze and very popular, so plan to have a bit of a wait (sadly, there isn't much of a wating area other than in the foyer or outside). Thankfully we didn't wait long and had a lovely table for two.
We both ordered off of the specials menu. My husband had "Bob's plate" which included a variety of seafood and pasta and I had the lamb with potatoes and veggies. It was all delicious! I was a little disappointed with the dessert options, but the creme brulee was lovely. Also, we were a little surprised that they charged for the bread basket, but many restaurants are doing that these days, so I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised by that.
We will definetly dine there again...and don't forget your favorite bottle of wine!
