This year Newtown will have two beer festivals just a few weeks apart. First, comes the Newtown Blues & Brews Beer Festival, presented by the Newtown Fire Association and taking place on September 25^th, 2010 at The Stocking Works (where the Newtown Brewfest has been held in the past). Then, on October 16^th, 2010 the 5th annual Newtown Brewfest is being held at a new location this year - the Newtown Swim Club, and is organized by the Newtown Corporation.

The 4th annual Newtown Brewfest has come and gone. The weather gods have blessed us with a few dry (and even sunny) hours on Saturday to enjoy our beers from over 80 different breweries.
